Your day begins in Lucerne, with a walking tour of the Old Town, a visit to the beautiful Chapel Bridge, and the historical Lion Monument. Lucerne’s Old Town is packed with history, culture, and Swiss heritage, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
We continue by car, first visiting the Giessbach Waterfalls at Lake Brienz, one of the most spectacular lakes in Switzerland, famous for its unique light blue color and breathtaking sights. Here, we will stretch our legs for a bit, taking in the fresh air and incredible sights. We will take a short walk to the Giessbach Waterfalls, making sure to stand right underneath them. Imagine yourself there, surrounded by trees and nature with the ineffable view of Lake Brienz…
We then continue our ride to Interlaken for a city center walking tour. This is also a great spot to do some souvenir shopping as the shopping in Interlaken is especially good! The next stop is in the Valley where we go to Lauterbrunnen, the tiny idyllic village surrounded by impressive waterfalls and huge cliffs. It’s even better than you might imagine.
We then return back to the village of Brienz and over the Brünig where you will see the impressive Lake Lungern. The drive back to Lucerne from Lauterbrunnen takes almost 2 hours and it will be peppered with interesting sights and insights from our expert local guide.
