Imagine you’ve already booked this tour and all you have to do now is look forward to this incredible experience. Imagine the Mount Rigi Excursion, exploring the majestic Alps, admiring the beautiful views down onto the idyllic towns and villages below.
You will start with a boat ride, crossing the beautiful Lake Lucerne, arriving at a small village called Vitznau. From there we continue with an authentic Swiss cogwheel train to the top of Mount Rigi. After about 40 minutes we reach the summit where you will enjoy gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. After spending some time on top of Mount Rigi, we return along a scenic gondola ride and take our second boat ride of the day back to Lucerne.
In Lucerne, we will visit the most popular attractions which are all within walking distance of each other. You will explore the historical Lion Monument, the world-famous Chapel Bridge, and Lucerne’s charming Old Town with its medieval buildings and mind-blowing churches.
